Abstract: This paper introduces structural characteristics, design parameters and utilization considerations of QXG type DTH hammer coring drilling tool with simultaneous casing, which is a new drilling tool based on technical design for DTH hammer drilling with simultaneous casing and DTH hammer core-drilling. While it drills, this tool can follow up the casing, protect the borehole wall and prevent the borehole from collapsing. This type of DTH hammer core-drilling is suitable for core-drilling in unconsolidated formation.
