Abstract: The study on the rock mass stability in coal mining has been a problem concerned widely by the researchers. In this paper,the factors which have influences on the rock mass stability are analyzed,the study methods on the rock mass stability are presented,and the roof stability is predicted with the example of Xiezhuang mine,providing a path for the prediction of rock mass stability in coal mining.
