Abstract: The gas flow equation,which can objectively describe the correctness or not of the mechanism for methane gas flow in coal seams,is the cornerstone for the theory for gas flow in coal seams.Based on Darcy's law,one kind of the equation for gas flow in coal seams has been corrected and reestablished in this paper.
