Abstract: The paper introduces the basic principle on the prediction of coal and gas outburst hazard using the electromagnetic radiation method;the technical indexes and electric block diagram of MTT-92 type detector of coal and gas outburst hazard,and its test effect in Baijiao mine.It is pointed that this detector can be used as a new geophysical tool in the prediction of coal and gas outburst hazard.
