Abstract:
Based on systematic study on mineral composition,micro-structural charactristic,physical and mechanical property,and rock mass structure of faulted zone under the designed Yangtze River Highway Bridge from Zhenjing to Yangzhou,a new viewpoint and method for engineering zonation and assessment on faulted zone are presented.The faulted zone is divided into four belts.The engineering countermeasures for each belt separately desiged to evade faulted zone,to excavate and fill up with concrete,to consolidate with grouning and to increase the pile length.
