Abstract: Pointing to the present land surface subsidence conditions and various factors which caused the land subsidence in Panji coal mining area,the authors put forward several methods of controlling the land surface subsidence,such as monitoring closely the physical properties of the loose ground,selecting reasonably the water supply aquifers etc..
