Abstract: The sandstone type kaoline deposit in Dongsheng is an especially big sedmentary deposit in coal measures.The deposit has the simple geological conditions,the favorable mining conditions.The ore may be divided into three types,but the main body of which is composed of sandstone type.The constituent of rude ore is simple,the quality is good.The tailings are dominated by quartz,which is a good raw material for glass industry and can be utilzed comprehensively.The development of this kaoline deposit can keep pace with that of coal,with the characteristics of lesser investment and speedily become effective,therefore,it has a broad prospect.
