Abstract: This paper introduces the theory and the implementation of the probability method,and the failure probability of a landslide is analyzed by the application of the Monte-carlo simulation.A programme design method,with which computer can deal with the stability of the landslide is put forward.The result indicates that the probability method is an effective way to measure the stability of landslide.
