Abstract: This coal-bearing series was deposited in a tidal cenvironment where the energy of the current was low.Based on the difference of depositional features,three depositional areas have been recognited:1.The tidal lagoon in the northeast part of Lichuan,2.The flats in the central and southwest part,3.the wendou eluial Environment in the southwest part.The coal seam is mainly acculated in th Jianlan-Zhonglu peat flat（fig.4）.Thus,it is a area suitable for the projects of coal exploration and developing.
