Abstract: Based on analysis results of coal samples with microscopic and scanning electron microscopic research,it is described that the petrographic characteristics and microscopic depredation of burst coal.The quantitative analysis on the componens and microcosmic structures of burst coal is conducted.The influence of microcosmic characteristics on the burst is discussed.It provides the consults to forecast the burst of the coal seams with burst tendency.
