Abstract:
This paper contrasts wear ratio and impact resistance of normal diamond enhanced carbide tungsten composite button with that of plated diamond enhanced carbide tungsten composite button, and it shows that vacuum W-plated diamond enhanced carbide tungsten composite buttons have excellent impact resistance and wear ratio. This paper electrolyzes different modes of plating diamond enhanced carbide tungsten composite buttons, by scan electrical microscope, metallurgical microscope and strength instrument, then contracts change of strength and appearance of different plated diamond before sintering with after sintering, it shows that vacuum W-plated diamond have excellent resistance of thermal damage & erosive resistance of matrix, but application of chemical NiWB-coated, NiWP-coated aggravates that diamond is eroded by matrix and is thermally damaged. Application of technology of vacuum W-plated diamond must greatly improve performance of diamond enhanced carbide tungsten composite button.
