Abstract: This paper introduced the design principle and thought way of MKF-2 type drilling rig especially for gas extraction in underground coal mine. The rig's mechanical structure and hydraulic pressure system were introduced in details. The field test indicated that the developed drilling rig is appropriate for underground pre-drainage of coal seams.
