Abstract: The northwest of China is one of the richest regions in coal resource of China,but there will be many disadvantageous factors for exploitation of coal resource in this region on the base of evaluating coal resource of the region comprehensively from technical and economical points of view,this paper analysis and discusses the exploitation potential of coal resource and some existing problems of this region in the future,and puts forward some opinion and suggestion for solving the problems.
