含煤岩系沉积学和层序地层学研究现状和展望

THE STATUS AND PROSPECT OF SEDIMENTOLOGY AND SEQUENCE STRATIGRAPHY RESEARCH ON THE COAL BEARING STRATA

  • 摘要: 在对含煤岩系沉积学研究历史进行回顾的基础上,论述了含煤岩系层序地层学方法以及海平面变化与聚煤作用的关系。注重强调分布广泛的厚煤层实际上是在基准面或海平面抬升过程中堆积的,煤层底面代表海泛面,以煤层之下的古土壤(根土岩)或沉积间断面为代表的暴露事件则把其下的进积期沉积和其上的海侵期沉积分隔开来。

     

    Abstract: Based on the review of the sedimentology research history of coal-bearing strata,both the sequence stratigraphy method of coal-bearing strata and the relationship between sealevel change and coal accumulation are expounded.It is emphasized that the thick,extensively distributed coal seams were actually formed in the process of base level or sea level rise.The bottom of coal seam is a marine flooding surface.The paleosols (rooting clays) underneath the coal seams or the discontinuous surface represent the exposure events which discriminate between the underlying prograding sediments and the overlying transgressive ones.
