Abstract: Coal gas saturation is an important parameter to evaluate coal gas development possibility.On the basic of introducing the formula to calculate the coal gas saturation,it is discussed that the distribution features of coal gas saturation with regions or seams in detail. Furthermore,considering gas-controlling geologic characteristics in the area,the features of coal gas saturation are favorite to select and decide ecploration targets.
