Abstract: The purpose of evaluating coal resources is to provide geological foundation in making macro-decision for coal industry planning and national economy planning the basic idea is to make evaluation analysis and resources guarantee degree analysis in order to meet the demand of different level,by classifying province,planning region and national 3 levels with either exploration region or coal-mining area as an evaluation unit and basing the resources need on the development of in dividual coal industry;with the systematic theory,and the comprehensive evaluation meffords through pualitative and puantitative analysis to determine the degree of excellency,and place to order for exploration,to make superior and inferior classification and a analyse the resources formation to determine the order for the short-term,nid-term and long-term development and further exploration the way of evaluation pattern is Analytic Hierarchy process-that is grey cluster analysis assisted by grey stztistics.
