Abstract: Based on gas occurrence characteristics in Yangquan coal mining area,an extraction method with economic and technique feasibility is determined through correlation analysis of every kind of gas extraction indexes.It means that for single mining coal seam the optimum selection and development direction are U+L ventilation and large hole gas extraction;for combined mining working face of 15^# coal seam the U type ventilation and the gas extraction from roof strike direction rock road way are relatively better.
