Abstract:
By the analysis and study of δ
13C and δ
18O values attained from the brachiopod fossils of Late Paleozoic coal bearing strata in East hill of Taiyuan, the relationship between δ
13C value of brachiopod and
Z value (relative paleosalinity) is revealed.The δ
13C and
Z values,as the environment parameters, are conformed with the existing condition of medium which is interpreted qualitatively by the corresponding brachiopod community, thus, the importance of brachiopod community analysis is increased greatly. The further ecological research on the brachiopod community regionally is of very important for the analysis of coal accumulating basin history.
