Abstract: Based on coalbed gas data collected during mine construction and exploration,the gas content of Permo-Carboniferous coal seams in Shandong Province is evaluated.The important geologic factors which caused the gas content lower are analyzed.Taking Huanghebei coalfield where gas content is high as key study area,the working direction and target area for coalbed gas development in future are presented.
