Abstract: The prediction of coal and gas outburst is taken as the research object.Ten factors such as geological structure,mining depth,initial speed of methane diffusion and so on were selected as prediction indexes.Prediction model of coal and gas outburst was established by using distance discriminant analysis method.The model was trained and tested with the practical data.Finally,the method was applied to example.And the prediction result accords with the fact.
