Abstract: The characteristics of coal seam No.3 of Permian Shihezi Formation in the eastern Xiuzhou are analyzed,and their control on combined caving technology is studied.It is described that the caving method and effects caused by the coal seams characterized by soft roof,soft floor and sotf seam.
